Terms of Service

Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Vibedasher ("the Service", "the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the Service.

Description of Service

Vibedasher is a Business Intelligence platform that provides:

  • Hosting for dashboards your own tools or AI agents build, served at a URL
  • An AI assistant that builds and edits dashboards from your data
  • Managed datasets with scheduled refresh, from file uploads, warehouse connections and SQL
  • Alerts when a value crosses a threshold, delivered by email or Slack
  • Scheduled dashboard subscriptions delivered by email
  • Lineage across datasets, dashboards and dbt models
  • Role-based access control with groups, and signed embed tokens for placing a dashboard inside your own application
  • Python and TypeScript SDKs and an MCP server
  • Cloud hosting; self-hosted deployment is available as an engagement scoped with us

Account Registration

Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old and capable of forming a binding contract to use Vibedasher.

Account Security

  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
  • You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
  • You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account
  • You must provide accurate and complete registration information

Organization Accounts

For team or enterprise accounts:

  • The account owner represents that they have authority to bind the organization
  • The organization is responsible for all actions of its users
  • User access and permissions are managed by the account administrator

Acceptable Use

Permitted Use

You may use Vibedasher for:

  • Creating data visualizations and business intelligence reports
  • Analyzing data from integrated sources
  • Collaborating with team members
  • Embedding visualizations on your websites or applications

Prohibited Activities

You agree NOT to:

  • Violate any laws or regulations
  • Infringe on intellectual property rights
  • Upload malicious code, viruses, or harmful content
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or other accounts
  • Use the Service to spam, phish, or distribute malware
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the platform (except as permitted by law)
  • Scrape, data mine, or extract data using automated means without permission
  • Resell or redistribute the Service without authorization
  • Use the Service for cryptocurrency mining or similar resource-intensive activities
  • Impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers

What these restrictions do not cover

Vibedasher is built to be driven by software, so three of the prohibitions above need saying plainly, because read literally they would forbid the product:

  • Using our documented API, SDKs, CLI or MCP server — including by an autonomous agent, on a schedule, and at volume within the limits of your plan — is permitted use. It is not "automated extraction" and it needs no separate permission from us
  • Embedding dashboards in your own product and serving them to your own users is permitted, and is not resale or redistribution of the Service
  • Exporting a dashboard's generated source code with the eject feature, and then reading, modifying and running that code, is not reverse engineering

Subscription Plans and Billing

Cloud Subscription

Vibedasher Cloud is prepaid, not invoiced. There is no subscription, no monthly minimum and no bill in arrears:

  • Your account holds a credit balance. New accounts are granted starter credits at no charge
  • Usage — AI tokens, query and ETL compute, storage, network transfer — is deducted from that balance as it happens
  • When the balance reaches zero, usage that would consume credits is refused until you add more. Your account is not suspended and no debt accrues
  • You add credits yourself, by card, through Stripe Checkout. Optional auto-top-up repeats that purchase when the balance falls below a threshold you choose
  • Credits do not expire. We do not currently issue invoices, and we do not accept ACH, wire transfer or direct debit
  • Credits are deducted at the rates published at vibedasher.com/pricing at the time the usage occurs, or at the rates in your order form if you have one
  • All fees are non-refundable except as required by law

On-Premise License

The self-hosted edition is priced per agreement, not from a list. Fees, term and scope are those stated in your order form or subscription agreement.

  • One-time setup and installation support
  • Annual software updates and security patches
  • Technical support via email and chat
  • Renewal required for continued updates and support

Price Changes

We reserve the right to change pricing with:

  • 30 days' notice for existing customers
  • Immediate effect for new customers
  • Grandfathered pricing may be offered at our discretion

Data and Content

Your Data

  • You retain all rights to data you upload or connect to Vibedasher
  • You grant us a license to process and display your data as necessary to provide the Service
  • You represent that you have the right to use and share all data you provide
  • You are responsible for backing up your data

Our Content

  • The Service, including all software, features, and designs, is owned by Vibedasher
  • We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service
  • Our trademarks, logos, and brand materials may not be used without permission

User-Generated Content

  • Content you create (dashboards, reports, visualizations) belongs to you
  • You can delete your content at any time
  • We may use anonymized and aggregated content for improving the Service

Dashboards you eject

The eject feature hands you the generated source code of a dashboard — the React components, the build configuration and the query calls — to keep in your own repository and run on your own hosting. So that the code is worth having:

  • You may use, modify, host and distribute the ejected code as part of your own product, with no separate licence fee and without keeping a Vibedasher subscription
  • That right is perpetual and irrevocable, and it survives termination of these Terms, for any code you ejected while your account was in good standing
  • We claim no ownership of the ejected code or of what you build from it, and the restrictions in Prohibited Activities and Our Content do not apply to it
  • Being honest about the limit: the generated code reads its data through our hosted query API. If your account ends, the code is still yours — it will have no Vibedasher engine to read from unless you run one yourself

Intellectual Property

Ownership

Vibedasher and its licensors own all rights, title, and interest in:

  • The platform software and infrastructure
  • All patents, copyrights, trade secrets, and trademarks
  • Documentation, logos, and brand materials
  • AI models and algorithms (excluding third-party models)

Feedback

If you provide suggestions, feedback, or ideas:

  • You grant us a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free license to use them
  • We are not obligated to implement feedback
  • We don't owe compensation for feedback used

Third-Party Services

Integrations

Vibedasher integrates with third-party services (databases, cloud providers, AI services):

  • Your use of third-party services is governed by their terms
  • We are not responsible for third-party service availability or changes
  • You are responsible for maintaining necessary licenses and permissions

AI Services

When using AI-powered features:

  • Your prompts are routed through OpenRouter to the underlying model provider you select (Anthropic, Google, Mistral, DeepSeek, Meta, xAI and others)
  • On-premise deployments still require an API key for a hosted AI provider; we do not ship a bundled local model
  • We do not use your data to train AI models. Retention and training by the underlying model providers is governed by their terms, not ours — see our Privacy Policy and Security pages
  • AI-generated content may not be accurate and should be verified

Service Availability

Uptime and service credits

Cloud Service:

  • Vibedasher Cloud is in open beta. We offer no uptime SLA and no service credits. The Service is provided on an as-available basis, as described in the disclaimer below
  • We aim for continuous availability and will give advance notice of scheduled maintenance, but that aim is not a contractual commitment and no downtime credit is owed
  • We publish no uptime percentage, Recovery Point Objective or Recovery Time Objective. Our Security page explains why: the metrics and on-call stack that would measure them is currently switched off, and stating a number we have not measured would be worse than saying so

On-Premise:

  • Availability depends on your infrastructure
  • We provide technical support for installation and configuration

Service Modifications

We reserve the right to:

  • Modify or discontinue features with notice
  • Perform maintenance and updates
  • Temporarily suspend service for security or legal reasons

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

  • THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE"
  • WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED
  • WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES
  • OUR TOTAL LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID IN THE PAST 12 MONTHS
  • SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW LIABILITY LIMITATIONS, SO THESE MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU

Specific Exclusions

We are not liable for:

  • Data loss (maintain your own backups)
  • Third-party service failures
  • AI-generated content accuracy
  • Security breaches beyond our control
  • Your misuse of the Service
  • Decisions made based on analytics or visualizations

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Vibedasher, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from:

  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your violation of any rights of another party
  • Your use of the Service
  • Content you submit or share

Termination

By You

  • You can terminate your account at any time from account settings
  • Cloud subscriptions end at the end of the current billing period
  • On-premise licenses are non-refundable

By Us

We may suspend or terminate your account if:

  • You violate these Terms
  • Your payment fails
  • Required by law
  • The Service is discontinued

Effect of Termination

Upon termination:

  • Your access to the Service ends immediately
  • We delete your account data within 90 days, as described in our Privacy Policy
  • Self-serve data export is not built yet. If you want a copy of your data, email support@vibedasher.com before you close the account and we will export it for you — our Security page says the same
  • Outstanding fees remain due
  • Provisions that should survive termination will continue (e.g., indemnification, limitations)

Confidentiality

Each party may receive non-public information from the other: your data and business information on our side, our non-public technical, security and commercial information on yours. Each party agrees to use the other's confidential information only as needed to perform under these Terms, to protect it with at least the care it applies to its own, and not to disclose it except to employees, contractors and service providers who need it and are under equivalent obligations. This does not apply to information that is public, already known without a duty of confidence, or independently developed, and it does not prevent a disclosure required by law — where the disclosing party gives notice first if it lawfully can. These obligations last as long as the information stays confidential.

Dispute Resolution

Governing Law

The governing law for these Terms is not yet published on this page. We will state it here, and in any order form, before we rely on it. Nothing in these Terms limits the mandatory consumer-protection law of your place of residence.

Arbitration

These Terms contain no arbitration clause and no waiver of a jury trial or of class actions. An earlier draft did, naming neither a forum nor a location; a clause that cannot say where or by whom a dispute would be heard is not one we will hold you to, so it was removed rather than completed.

Courts

Either party may seek relief in a court of competent jurisdiction, including injunctive relief for:

  • Intellectual property infringement
  • Breach of confidentiality
  • Violation of usage restrictions

General Provisions

Entire Agreement and Order of Precedence

These Terms, our Privacy Policy, and any order form, subscription agreement or plan-specific terms signed with us are the entire agreement between us on this subject, and replace any earlier proposal or discussion. Where they conflict, the more specific document wins, in this order: a signed order form or subscription agreement first, then these Terms, then our Privacy Policy and any other page we publish.

Modifications

We may modify these Terms by:

  • Posting updated Terms with a new "Last Updated" date
  • Notifying you via email or in-app notification
  • Giving you 30 days' notice before the change takes effect

If you object to a change, tell us at legal@vibedasher.com within those 30 days and you may close your account before it applies, with no further charge; the previous Terms govern everything up to that point. Continuing to use the Service after a change takes effect means you accept it.

Severability

If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect.

No Waiver

Failure to enforce any provision does not waive our right to enforce it later.

Assignment

You may not assign these Terms without our consent. We may assign them to an affiliate or successor.

Force Majeure

We are not liable for delays or failures due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control (natural disasters, war, pandemics, etc.).

Export Compliance

You agree to comply with all export and import laws and regulations.

Language

These Terms are published in English, and the English text is the one that governs. Any translation of this page is provided for convenience only; where a translation and this English text differ, this English text prevails.

Plan-Specific Terms

Cloud Plan

  • Prepaid credits, deducted as you use the Service — see Subscription Plans and Billing above. There is no monthly bill and no overage charge; when the balance reaches zero, credit-consuming usage stops
  • There is no region selector today. Dashboards, datasets and query results are processed and stored in AWS eu-central-1 (Frankfurt). Identity and account records are held in AWS us-east-1 (United States) for every account, wherever you are. Our Privacy Policy says the same
  • Recovery is point-in-time restore on our primary datastores, with a rolling 35-day window. We run no separate scheduled backup job — our Security page describes exactly what that covers

On-Premise Plan

  • License is per installation/deployment
  • Annual renewal required for updates
  • You provide your own infrastructure
  • We may require access for support (with your permission)
  • Custom integrations may require additional fees

Effective Date: January 18, 2026

By using Vibedasher, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.
